CommentsA friend referred me to David Alexander’s site, and on viewing his collections I fell in love with the fur, leather, mesh, studs, jewels, and all of my favorite things compiled into one fashion show. Once I began to speak with David, I found his quirky, enthusiastic and overly creative personality absolutely thrilling, and had to share it with you.
Here’s a little anecdote that got me hooked on David straight away:
So my friend Susan calls me and says ” your gonna be so mad at me.” and as I put down my Playstation controller and jogged over to my computer I see this email and I’m like…..who is that, and she goes “Well I dunno, but she is prolly never gonna buy another skirt from you or Curve again..” and Im like omg omg did i fudge up and the skirt zipper was broke because I do pride myself on an 100% usa made quality product…”She goes well I saw her in the skirt and I freaked out and ran over and I was lil drunk and I sort of shook her cause I was in the gold one and was like OMG OMG my friend made these arent they great”….So basically if you buy my clothes in NY and a crazy beautiful woman runs over to you its my friend Susan haha I cant be mad she is just all about my designs and gives me so much support.
I was also lucky enough to hear from David on a few questions that I asked: (more…)
CommentsReynold’s wrap that is. The latest from the genius house of Margiela is a collection of jewelry that appears to be wrapped in aluminum foil. I’m always surprised by how well this brand can innovate and expand on such simple concepts. Truly a work of art.

Becks and Annabelle hit up the Victoria Secret store in Soho this afternoon to meet some of the bombshells. The Valentine’s day themed event offered a perfect photo op for these beautiful angels. The real belle of the ball was the new fragrance Love Rocks, which was accompanied in all goody bags. The feminine sweet scent reminds me a little of raspberry sorbet which means wearing it will only make your man hungry for more. Use wisely ladies, unless you’re okay with a feeding frenzy.

CommentsLA party girl Kelli McKee (friend of DJ Panda Bear and AJ English) teamed up with Kidviskous Jewelry and Radiant Jungle’s Zak Krevitt to shoot a new promo. Check out their stuff here, and see more of Zak’s work here
CommentsGisele Bundchen and Tom Brady has been trying to keep their baby Benjamin a secret. Of course, there are no secrets when you’re in the public spotlight. Brazilian gossip magazine Quem was the first to snap a shot of the mini model in the making.
CommentsGod, I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!
Last night on Kell on Earth we came ass to mouth with George Wayne, a Vanity Fair contributing editor who isn’t afraid to get into the party. The seemingly inept Contributing Editor was quick to pop one of Kelli’s Swarovski crystals, collected from an installation from Genetic Denim, without asking or wondering what that camera was doing there filming him. That’s called “life of the party” in my book.
This otherwise unimportant event does bring up three horribly revealing questions though.
1. Is it the norm amongst the upper echelon of the fashion media to pop pills at random parties? Not really a question I guess if we all know the answer, right?
2. Has Kelli passed out drugs to editors in the past? We already know she’s cool hanging out with hookers, but is she the unannounced drug lord of the fashion world as well? It would explain why so many of her clients manage to get such great press coverage…
3. Does Kelli have no control over what get’s aired on Bravo? She seemed to shoo away camera’s at the Chado Ralph Rucci show and this show is only showing the world how poorly organized and managed things are behind the scenes at People’s Revolution. For someone who is hired to keep control of the public image of fashion brands, you’d think she’d have a little more control over her own.
Also, was no one concerned about the potential lead poisoning which comes from ingesting crystals? Would love you’re thoughts on this episode if you watched it.

This tee will NOT be restocked once it’s out (well, until the next run of limited edition reprints)…don’t miss out, plus it’s only $28 which is a total steal!
