It’s a breath of fresh air seeing an unfamiliar face as the new girl for Calvin Klein. Recently, we’ve seen a trend in letting celebrities do the advertising for designers. With all due respect, I would have expected Calvin Klein to follow the mainstream bandwagon and stick some overrated actress or annoying “it girl” in his ads. However, it appears as if Mr. Klein plucked some teen out of gym class and used her! 18 year old Anna Selezneva, the Russian beauty who actually walked Calvin Klein’s last show, brings a new look, a unique face and some fresh blood to our list of spring ads. Shot by photographer Fabien Baron, the ad is anything but earth shattering for Calvin Klein. Sure, his geometric dress is neat, but I’m thinking this ad will do more for Anna Selezneva than Calvin Klein.
