For her January 11 show at Pitti Uomo, Alberta Ferretti is sending real women down the runway to model her collection rather than professional models. Not that the “real” women she chose don’t look like models anyway.
The lineup of socialites and former models already includes Camilla Belle, Marpessa and Carmen Dell’ Orefice, but there will be some women with “real” jobs sprinkled into the mix. This show could be a great disaster or great success, but I just can’t wait to see it.
