Alexandre Herchcovitch’s collection was beautiful! The order in which he showed his garments was genius; showing only black garments then gradually showing different patterns and colors, ending with a bold orange dress. The draping of the dresses were phenomenal and the shoes – FABULOUS!
After the show, I walked down the runway to go backstage. Mr. Herchovitch noted that in this collection he enjoyed “playing with geometric shapes and colors.” Although bombarded by reporters, he patiently answered all questions. Allowed only one question, I asked him if he had any advice for young, upcoming designers. He kindly replied, “you shouldn’t be afraid to show yourself, and at the beginning don’t think about sales, be yourself.”

So for now, I am alive in New York, designing for a Norwegian brand Flinga,
keeping it short and sweet being an intern for Fashion Indie, which rocks!
