American Apparel Gives The Average Gal A Shot At Modeling

The anti-airbrushing basic essentials brand, American Apparel, recently linked up with Chictopia to put real girls in place of where models used to pose. Starting with a Chictopia employee, American Apparel is campaigning for the plain-Janes, giving them a chance at a brief modeling career as well as countering the media’s tainted view of beauty. Who knows, maybe American Apparel just struck gold for all of us “real” girls out there…but I wouldn’t expect that your average girl next door to appear on the Chanel website anytime soon.
