This collection reminds me of a cold Sunday in Fall. To me their the clothes that you can still look decent in that doesn’t require thought, a shower, or even too much fashion knowledge to make them look good. This is the stuff I usually wear when I hide away
Kim Gordon, of Sonic Youth fame, made these exclusive art pieces for the Rodarte Exhibition at the Colette store earlier this month, and now they are finally up for sale. Sure they’re $6,000 a piece, but they are super rare and you’ll obviously be the only one to have it.
Sick of your standard J-Crew wardrobe but you like the style? Check out the new Margaret Howell collection for just that extra touch of class.
There was so much hype (and I suppose there still is) around these shoes, and now that I’m seeing them I can’t say I’m blown away. They are a bit boring to me. In fact, I saw these same shoes (more or less) at Topshop two weekends ago. Nothing against
Two of Fashion Indie’s favorites Katya Moorman and Ricardo Louis are teaming up for quite the little event. The two will be showing off their extensive work in both the Fashion and Nightlife scenes. Bottom line is that it’s going to be an amazing exhibition so get out to Brooklyn
Some extremely vintage looking cut denim is scattered through this collection (think Gap circa 1993), but The Local Firm’s collection comes together well. Their strog suit is definitely their blazers and jackets, but their other pieces shouldn’t be overlooked either.
Surface to Air has nothing short of an incredible reputation, and this collection keeps that reputation in check. How sick is that leather bag above? They keep it cool and not too flashy, but the quality is guaranteed.
The latest Carin Wester collection has more or less perfected the sweater. These aren’t the sweaters your grandmother used to sew you either. Be sure to check out the whole collection!
We all know Margiela is a genius, so such good looking gloves should be no surprise from him. These mummy wrap gloves are perfect for the radpily approaching cold weather (which I suppose is already here). I think the coolest detail is the way they decided to not do the
Ok so before I even tell you what I think, let’s attempt to put two and two together. All black + Leather + denim, obviously I’m going to love this collection. The leather moto jacket with denim sleeves and collar is perfect! Reminds me of a collection that could litter
Holy camo! I love this look! The red tie and green belt are great accents for this look. This is all part of the Griffin Fall 2009 collection, which in my eyes, is cool as hell!
Coll little video lookbook for the new Uniforms For The Dedicated collection. I think I like this whole idea of lookbook going digital. They seem way more engaging.
COMME des GARCONS is launching a holiday box set that features three different scents fromt heir current collection. The Man 2 bronze (which is my scent of choice), the Man 2 silver and the Man 888. Each comes with it’s own unique gift. This makes a perfect gift for any
I am a firm believer the idea that wearing brown makes you look boring. I know, I know it’s a terrible thing to say but why buy something in brown when you can get it in black and look twice as chic, but again that’s just me. I do like
Amazing! I love this leather jacket, and since I’m in the market for one, I’m even more intrigued by this collection. There is something so simple about this lookbook that makes it brilliant. I’m not focused on the models or the background simply the looks.
So in case you haven’t noticed, I’ve been exposing my musical pleasures of late on the site in hopes that you would not only pick up on some new music, but get to know what I’m all about a bit more. Well one band that I have been following since
It came, it conquered, and now it’s being conquered! It seems like this could be the end for everyone’s favorite Jane Hotel. The club/bar/lounge/hipster den is facing some legal troubles that many think is going to result in the demise of the joint. After the cops raided it again this
I read a review about this place earlier and it sounds kind of cool, unless you’re terrified of the circus. It’s above Bowlmor, and Paris Hilton is apprently going to be there, which means she’ll walk in take 50 pictures then leave.
While the overall style of this collection is a little too refined for me, I do love the collection. A lot of pieces are very prepster, but can be dressed in ways to fit other styles as well. How about that blue toggle coat with the big collar! Amazing.
I’m not too familiar with Andrea Crews, but I love the designs! They remind me a lot of both Cassette Playa and Jeremy Scott, but still have that refreshingly unique look to them. I’m excited to see more!
Is it too soon to see this picture and get happy about the snow? I’m a huge fan of cold weather, and seeing this collection from Conference of Birds has me ready to see my own breath in the air. I love the big chunky vest above, it’s a nice
Cole Mohr may be Kirby’s love obsession, but Ash Stymest is 100% my idol. This video of him for Metal Magazine’s #17 issue is really cool. I’ve been considering getting my hair cut similarly to his, what do you think?

I’ve been excited about this for weeks. I’ve been Tweeting about it, and writing about it, but it is finally here! Fashion Indie friends the birD day have finally released their debut self titled EP! With the EP come some amazing new promo pictures too! Check out my man Jay’s
High-end, classic looks are the reciepe for success for Kitsune, as they produce another Fall/Winter collection that screams quality.
