Oxygen is London’s coolest independent fashion boutique. It is a unique retail concept that has grown from extensive experience of the fashion industry and an intrinsic ability to identify the wardrobe needs of women in the UK.

Devised by two generations of one family, Oxygen is the creation of Helen and Joanna who after many years of cultivating their highly successful fashion led label and successfully supplying to many of our nations biggest high street names, realized there was a space for an accessible yet fashion led store stocking unique, desirable and discreet labels that can be mixed and worn without the need for status or label flashing. The result is Oxygen.

The labels selected to be in-store are an intriguing blend of new and up-and-coming designers who are creating a buzz in the industry to established highly desirable insider labels. Big brands and label flashing are a thing of the past and the carefully selected and edited buy reflects this new mood and a highly personal approach to dressing.

Paris Street Fashion Stuff #3

On a gloriously balmy Sunday afternoon, as I was passing through the Place des Abbesses,

I spotted a very cute couple, looked back at them, thought, “Nah, they have already passed,
later…” I then spun around a called out “Excuse Me!” They turned and I
felt rather embarrassed stating that I had a blog and recently
commenced the “Paris Street Fashion Stuff” section and would they be
willing to pose for me. They very graciously accepted after I showed
them my blog on my iPhone.

I was taking a walk along Rue des Abbesses in the 18th District of Paris in Montmartre and spotted this couple and asked “Wanna be on my blog?” and they said sure…

You know, I have seen a few of the other blogs that appear to be random images of people on the street, but they are NOT randomly taken, but highly choreographed images to appear that
they are snap shots. What I have here is taken with my iPhone with no
enhancements other than some post prod in Photoshop.

Donna Karan Pre-Fall Preview

Donna Karan has long been known for her “knotted” and fabulously draped silhouettes. I’m loving the ample tops and bottoms which are the perfect contrast to the fitted suits and dresses. I’ve always considered her one of those “best in show” designers as her collections are highly anticipated.

I think what I love most, is the fact that she has remained a relevant force in the fashion industry while many have fallen by the wayside. She’s found her creative niche and it continues to work time and again. She is and will remain a favorite.
