Men: "Street Etiquette"

Edited by

Street Etiquette is a male-focused blog written by the two very stylish men pictured. Beautifully written, informative and the “go to place” for some of the lastest men’s fashions and more. Read more about this dapper duo below.

Men: "Street Etiquette"

Joshua Kiss and Travis Gumbs are single handedly changing the perception of male urban fashion

Meet Joshua Kissi and Travis Gumbs, two dapper gentlemen from Harlem who are single handedly changing the perception of male urban fashion. On their immensely popular blog, Street Etiquette, the two get dressed in anything from crisp button downs with thin striped ties and khakis to leather jackets, cuffed jeans, and sock revealing saddle shoes, clearly and vividly photographing each stylish concept for their eager readers.

Aesthetic architects, the two make each outfit more appealing by offering close glimpses of embellished details – recent posts showcased bright orange embroideries on a maroon jacket, toggle buttons on a navy blue stand collar coat, and tassles on a pair of well polished deep amber penny loafers. Though in their twenties, Kissi and Gumbs seem to have old souls, and constantly reference erstwhile pictures to inform their current chic. They say, “Our Street Etiquette is…our love for incorporating different styles of fashion into our urban understanding.”

(Vogue Black)

I shall be a faithful follower!

Gossip.

Edited by

Criticizing. I like criticizing. And gossip. I don’t know what the big
deal is if you gossip. And why it’s regarded as negative element. Why
is it a flaw? And also, the whole ‘if you got something to say, tell it
to my face, not behind my back’ cliche, it’s just so
not-at-all-understandable. What if everyone went and said everything in
everyone’s face? Would that world be a better place? No, there would
probably be thousands of arguments, fights and stupid debates. If I
have an opinion about someone, why do I have to share with that certain
someone? I’m just gonna go gossip to my friends. Why would that someone
care what I have to say about him/her? Of course, friends, family,
excluded. Because they would obviously care. Concerning the rest, even
if I’d tell them, the most probable given answer would be’ So what, I
don’t even care what you think about me’. See? Big surprise. Huge. Then
why is talking behind your back such a big deal? And don’t say that the
appropriate, correct and best thing to do would be not to talk at all.
If that’s my way of having a good time, then yes, I’ll do it. And it’s
not just me. It’s all the girls. And most boys. Who doesn’t love a good
gossip? It’s a common thing. So, don’t be an arrogant and say the
words’ I never gossip. If I have an opinion, I tell it straight to
their face’. Okay, news flash! You don’t have to!

Little moments

Edited by

Little
moments

Is it the music?

There are times when I feel so low, as if I want
to hide under the ground.Or build our own giant shoe box just for
myself so I can feel a little comfort in my own safety zone…
Maybe
the truth is, nothing is right…but there’s always time when I was
sitting in my car looking up to the sky, under the partly cloudy
weather…slowly…slowly driving under the constellations of
life…going into the highway, watched everything so far ahead as i saw
many lines spread from the electricity pillars that stands so
high…Then I would start to count every single details I’ve missed in
my drawings…

Or when I woke up in the morning, and drizzles of
rainy day peeking from the window pane. Playing a tune of a wonderful
melancholy sound…a reminder of November month that once feels so grand
to me…my personal treasures…

When I carefully steps
downstairs in the morning to have my breakfast and morning
coffee…Seems like I want to stop the world, right here…just let me
have this moment here a little bit longer…When the sky is clearly blue
and you know nothing is wrong…everything will be quite alright…

Slightly…slightly
you start to hope again…

The past won’t haunt you
anymore…they’re long gone…and the moment you keep…it stays in your
heart…

http://lostandblue.blogspot.com/
Slightly…you know nothing to worry about…

Slightly…

Deep
breath…nothing is wrong

I’m happy
