Now the move has become even more official as brown paper has been removed from the vacant windows to reveal Wang decals. Gird your loins, ladies. Alexander Wang’s first US store is almost a full-blown reality!

It’s about as fast as fast fashion can get, but Topman still manages to churn out respectable looking pieces from time to time (though respectable quality is a different matter entirely). The brand’s latest lookbook shows off some nice knits, jackets, trousers, and coats, all of it very reminiscent of what’s been on the big boy runways the past few seasons. Jump for more pics.

Last year’s GQ designer of the year looks to keep the ball rolling with his latest collection. And, by the looks of it, he’s doing a pretty damn good job. Keeping his base inspiration of dapper 50s/60s Southern gentleman, Reid plays with fit, a few unconventional patterns, and a variety of different and daring footwear choices. Cute can be just like the Goldilocks story: not cute enough, too cute, and just right. Mandy Coon‘s Ginny Bunny Bag falls in the latter. Coming in both black velvet and leather, the purse is just understated enough so that people on the street won’t think you’re playing at being Lolita, and not so minimalist that they’d wonder why you didn’t just buy another purse. The thing’s selling out fast, so get yours while you can. And snuggle it for the rest of us.

Surprisingly young by powerhouse magazine standards, Elle’s 25th anniversary issue promises to be a pretty good one. The womenswear magazine is following up their September issue with another big one in October, focusing on 25 women under 25.
