Lindsay Lohan was out and about in Los Angeles doing what she does best, shopping while be photographed by the paparazzi. In this excursion Lohan lowered the bar of what is exceptable shopping attire. There was once a time when you dressed up to go shopping. You wanted to, you know, look your best. Less than a month ago, I wrote the first edition of Be Afraid, Very Afraid about my enthusiasm for the arrival of Peaches Geldof. I reported that she was possibly going to host NylonTV. Well that was no rumor, Geldof is the new host of NylonTV. Color me surprised when I spotted this video of Peaches and Fashion Indie ‘favorite’ Corey Kennedy introducing the October ‘It’ Girl Issue. In the past three years Nylon has become a magazine I don’t even recognize. Although I wish this pairing would cease after this video, the writer in me hopes the duo goes on and on. Why? Yesterday the blogs went crazy discussing the possible separation of Mary Kate Olsen and her twin Ashley’s fashion lines. The demise of the wobbly two-some has been predicted for some time now, because after all everybody loves a good breakup even-if it is among family. The dividing line seems to say that Ashley will design Rick Owen’s rip-off The Row, while Mary Kate will work on the funkier Elizabeth and James.
