It’s like I always say ‘You Don’t Fuck with Anna Wintour.’ If she demands your first child, you better give her your first born pronto. Evidently politico-blog ‘The Huffington Post’ doesn’t know of my mantra. Because yesterday they posted this feature on the most powerful women in fashion

Vogue editor Anna Wintour is the international arbiter of fashion, recognized in an instant by her haircut and large sunglasses. But what does she really look like? Thanks to the strength of today’s digital cameras and the below AP photo from Thursday’s Tommy Hilfiger show, cropped several ways to show every pixel, now you can know.

And then they proceeded to display blown up photos of Miss. Wintour non-botoxed face and tennis-toned arms. All in poor taste, but I will show ya the photos anyway.

Sounds like Miss. Wintour is going to have a Huff-o writer’s head.

Tranny Mess’ First Big Girl Collection

Christian Siriano, the man who coined our favorite Bravo catchphrase “Tranny Mess,” had his first collection without the helpful arm of Project Runway. What did Siriano pull out? Something fierce? Sort of. It looked like an expansion of his winning PR collection with a Vera Wang-esque color palette. Take a look.

Hey did you catch the Anna Wintour painting at Fashion Week by artist Geoffrey Raymond?

Here’s the before:

Raymond said of the work:

“I usually paint Wall Street movers and shakers, but I’m having a Fashion Week moment and have been gathering annotations on my portrait of Anna Wintour outside Bryant Park this week. Interesting the amount of people who obviously want to write something but aren’t comfortable doing so. Meanwhile, a man from Vogue dropped by and said, “Anna’s not going to like this.” I told him I didn’t understand why not—the painting is relatively flattering and most of the comments are nice enough. He just shook his head.”

Runway Review: Project Runway

SPOILER ALERT: For those of you who actually care about this half-ass season of Project Runway, you may want to scroll down, because I have the photos from the soon to be aired final episode. There was some good, a few bad, and a whole lot of ugly. For those following this season you know that they are down to six finalist. Due to the progress of the show all six designers get to show at Bryant Park. So technically you don’t need to get to the final three to show at Bryant Park, although your collection will be edited out of the final show. Oh Well. Who do you think will make up the top three? Vincent Gallo is an Asshole, but You Already Knew That

I’m not sure why Vincent Gallo is invited to Fashion Week every year, probably to create easy content for bloggers like myself and the good people at Blackbook. Blackbook’s videographer Liz Glover had a run-in with Gallo about the authenticity of his leather jacket.

Here’s what happened:

So yes, our videographer Liz Glover has a certain history with Vincent Gallo. And though things began civilly enough, things degenerated when — all in good fun! — Liz made a crack about Gallo’s leather jacket, asking if it was in fact pleather. Let the record reflect we are in no way insinuating that Vincent Gallo would wear a pleather jacket! Quite the opposite in fact. Nevertheless, the jibe inspired Gallo’s ire: “If you print that [Ed. note: 'print'?], I will track you down and make you wish you had never been born.”
