I personally love it on Jennifer. It hangs very well on her body and everything looks great. Vanessa looked good too—but the dress didn’t seem to hang as nicely on her and the belt is a distraction and cuts her body in half.

Megan Fox and Cynthia Nixon both have worn the same red, Martin Grant dress. Who do you like it best on? I think the dress looks good on both of them, but Megan’s shoes a bit too distracting for the dress—therefore my vote goes to Cynthia.

Stars were seen on the runway for this spring in various forms. Prints, emblems, and embellishments in the shape of stars found their way in some designer’s collections, such as Francesco Scognamiglio, Vena Cava, and Derek Lam. I wouldn’t mind seeing more of this trend—especially in the way Derek Lam used it on those navy shorts.

Ginnifer Goodwin first wore this floral Dior dress at an event in LA. Then last month, Tinsley Mortimer wore the same dress in NYC. Who do you think wore it best? I think Tinsley’s accessories are too neon for the dress. I think if she went for a different shade of pink, it would’ve looked much better. I love Ginnifer’s shoes with the dress and her look overall better.

I may be impartial because I love Lea on Glee, but I really do like the dress better on her.

Who do you think wore the one-shoulder look best?

One of the big trends being seen on & off the runway is cat eye sunglasses. Alexander Wang’s spring collection showed some severe winged shades, with a metallic frame. Other designers, like Sonia Rykiel and Giles Deacon, had embellished frames.

If you’re looking for a more classic look that’s still eye-catching, then the pairs that Nikki Hilton and Scarlett Johansson wore would be perfect.

I’m loving this throw back to the 50s with a new, fresh twist.

Michelle Williams and Kim Cattrall have been caught in the same white, ruffle Lanvin dress recently. Which blonde wore it best? I love it the most on Michelle. The ruffles work better on her smaller frame and I love her choice of black accessories and heels with the dress.

Who do you think looks better?

The British film An Education features incredible styles from the 1960s—very similar to what is seen on the show Mad Men. This has to be my all-time favorite time period in fashion and this movie represents it very well.

I absolutely loved this beige and pink dress that Carry Mulligan’s character, Jenny, wore in the movie.  I’d be thrilled to wear any of these costumes.

If you were ever interested in getting Gaga’s waitress look from her Telephone video, then this is a great tutorial to watch. She takes you step-by-step through the make-up process and even dons a similar outfit as seen in the video.

Alexis Bledel & Kelly Osbourne both wore this ruffle dress from H&M. Yes, I said H&M. It’s surprising enough to see a celebrity in cheap dress, but to see two of them in the same dress from the mall—that’s a little more unexpected. One definitely pulled if off better than the other, though.

The color is not right on Alexis. It completely washes her out. In addition to bad color, those peep toe boots with the dress are horrible. The only thing I liked about her was the red lip & nails.

Kelly Osbourne gets away with this neutral shade a little better—it’s still not the greatest for her coloring. I like the accessories more here too, like those metallic gold heels.

I loved many of the 1930s costumes seen in the movie Atonement.

This green, low back dress that Keira Knightley’s character wore in the film has become an iconic piece and inspired many knock-offs. Understandably so, because it is stunning. It’s something very few people could pull-off and I think it looks amazing on Keira.

While looking at neutral sets on Polyvore, I came across this country inspired one by Thais Sauvo. My favorite pieces in it have to be the polka dot, chiffon top and the rose flats.

Sheer, lightweight fabrics were all over the runways recently, but a noticeable trend was the extremely sheer skirts of dresses and other leg wear.

It won’t keep you warm, but it’ll defiantly give off a sexy vibe.

Reese Witherspoon wore this pink & black print dress by L’Wren Scott back in October at a launch for her new perfume with Avon, while Jessica Simpson was seen in the same dress last week on Light Night with David Letterman.

I think without a doubt Reese wins this faceoff. The dress does not flatter Jessica’s curvier frame & the chunky shoes don’t help either. I loved that Reese kept it simple with her hair, makeup, and accessories, since the print and color is bold enough.

I found this wonderful black and white set on Polyvore by Kristy_Bell. I love the horizontal stripe tank and jaket. It makes me anxious for spring.

A big trend for this spring that was seen on the runway is chain mail. From bags, shoes, jackets, to entire dresses, this medieval embellishment is definitely a different way to wear metallics.

I love the way Versace used it in this pink dress and I also like the multicolored tank dress by Jen Kao.

In this video, we’re taken backstage at Rodarte’s fall 2010 show & shown how to get the slicked back look seen on the runway. I think even though this look was created for the fall, it’d fit in for this spring, especially with the floral hair pins.

Mena Suvari and AnnaLynne McCord both recently wore this olive green, draped dress from Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet. Who do you think pulled it off best?

I’m going to go with Mena. I like her accessories better & it goes better with her hair color and skin tone. The color makes AnnaLynne look extremely old and I hate that shawl.

I loved all the bright, pops of color that was a part of the Marie Antoinette film that Kirsten Dunst starred in.

The movie has gone on to be a huge source of inspiration for many in fashion, and when you look at the many various costumes throughout it, you know why. It stays true to the period, but I also think the bright colors give it a big modern twist.

I loved every outfit Kirsten wore & although I’d probably never go around dressed in this period look, I can definitely draw so much inspiration from it.

This untitled set on Polyvore, by Jujubabyy28, definitely caught my eye. Not just for its outfit, but the artistic composition of the set. My favorite piece from it is the Rag & Bone metallic oxfords.

For the past year, anticipation of Tim Burton’s adaptation of Alice in Wonderland has been growing and is leading many to be inspired by the 19th century tale. The story is a favorite of mine, so I couldn’t be more thrilled.

We’ve seen it on the runway, with designers like Versace and Christopher Kane using the whimsical world of Wonderland as their main source of inspiration. I really like Maison Martin Margiela’s take on the Tim Burton Alice we’ve seen in trailers and movie stills.

Merchandise for Alice in Wonderland has also been seen everywhere—from makeup to entire clothing lines— but I especially love the jewelry Stella McCartney designed.

Nicholas Kirkwood’s shoes here are a work of art. You can see the many influences incorporated, like the roses, checkered print, and tea set.

Behind the scenes at Marchesa’s spring 2010 show, Talia Shobrook for NARS Cosmetics gives us the step-by-step rundown on how to achieve the make-up seen in the show.

I love how they incorporate the feathers from the collection into the eyelashes. It gives it a subtle twist without distracting from the dresses. I think this would be a fun, eye-catching look to try for the spring.

Rumor Willis wore this black Dior dress in January, while 90210’s Jessica Szohr was seen in it at the Met Gala in 2009.

Who do you think wore it the best?

The dress looks good on both of them, but I think it looks even better on Jessica Szohr. Her hair looks great with it & I really her bright nail polish too.

Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers were a famous pair and had been in many films together—but one of the most stylish, in my opinion, was Swing Time. It featured Fred’s signature suit & bow tie look on his character Lucky, while Ginger played Penny– who was dressed in many stunning dresses.

I especially love the dress she danced in here—and when you watch the movie, you wonder how she was able to dance the way she did while wearing it. It’s such a classic look and that would even fit in with the style of today. I know I’d definitely love to wear it.

1930’s style is certainly epitomized thought the movie in so many different ways—you can’t help but fall in love with the brilliant costuming by Bernard Newman.

Nautical pieces are big right now— but I especially love this set’s mix of nautical and more super feminine items like the Lee Angel embellished necklace & Chanel belt with the vintage bag.

Mustaches seem to be the new nerd glasses now. Just for the fun of it, girls & guys with stache-envy have been donning fake ones—most recently Demi Lovato tweeted a pic of her in a faux, Mr. Pringles-style mustache.

I’m not sure if I’d actually walk around in public with a mustache of any kind above my lip, but it’s fun for photos.

I think my favorite mustache tribute comes in the form of this catchy song by YouTubers, Rocky & Balls, who make even those of us who aren’t particularly fond of facial hair, love it for the duration of the tune.

What’s your stance on the fake mustache trend? Love it or loathe it?

Carmen Electra and Taylor Swift both wore this floral Rebecca Taylor dress very recently—but who wore it best?

I personally favor the look on Taylor. It just seems to suit her better, style-wise, and I also like how her headband matches the piping in the dress. Carmen’s boots should never be seen in public, especially with this outfit.

Who do you prefer?

The 1950’s film Sabrina shows how Audrey Hepburn’s character transforms from chauffer’s daughter to a more sophisticated woman after attending school in Paris.

This black and white gown she wore is probably one of the most iconic pieces from the movie—and understandably so. It’s stunning and has maintained its style & appeal throughout the years.

What I loved the most about Sabrina’s style is the variety—sometimes she was very dressed up and other times, she was more laid-back and yet she still had that classy look. To top it off, she was portrayed by Audrey Hepburn, who is the ultimate icon in classic, cute, & sophisticated.

Fashion week in New York kicked off last week and one prominent trend seen for Fall/Winter 2010 was fur—in every way imaginable. From the more typical fur jackets & coats to fur cover purses and even furry shoes.

Hopefully, the masses will only wear fur if it’s fake when fall comes around again this year, otherwise I just find the trend slightly nauseating.

Christian Siriano’s blue ruffle dress is getting a lot of wear with Rihanna and Kat de Luna seen in it recently.

I really love the way Rihanna pulled it off—keeping the hair and shoes simple & letting the dress make the statement. Her silver heart earrings match the silver in the dress as well. I would’ve liked it better on Kat if she had her hair pulled up and gone with a different shoe. Less is definitely more in the case of trying to accessorize this dress—but who do you think pulled it off best?

This iconic movie about two bank robbing lovers during the Great Depression is full of style in every frame—especially coming from the second half of the duo, Bonnie Parker. I love this belted trench she’s seen wearing here.

The movie was Oscar nominated for Best Costumes, thanks to costume designer Theadora van Runkle, and has since gone on to inspire many in the fashion community.

I think the most memorable part of Bonnie’s wardrobe throughout the film is her different hats.

Clyde also has a distinct look himself—newsboy caps, fedoras, & vests are some of his signature pieces.

Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty, both nominated for their performances as real-life bank robbers Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, in a scene from 1967 Best Picture nominee "Bonnie and Clyde." Beatty also was nominated as the filmÕs producer. The film earned a total of 10 Academy Award nominations and took home Oscars in two categories. The film will be screened as part of the AcademyÕs ÒGreat To Be NominatedÓ series on Tuesday, June 20, at the AcademyÕs Samuel Goldwyn Theater.

A new trend seen online is changing your accessories to make them something “new” and “unique” with just a little paint, beads, or other embellishment.

Doe Deere of Lime Crime showed how she painted the bottom of her pumps bright, baby blue here—and also referred us to others online who are using their creativity on accessories.

I love DIY fashion and this goes to show that with a little bit of imagination and opening your craft supply box, you can create something pretty cool and even imitate what designers are doing, without the cost.

Beyonce wore this blue Elie Saab dress last year on the Late Show with David Letterman, while Dita von Teese was recently seen at the Elie Saab show wearing the same dress.

I think they both look amazing in it, but my vote for the best goes to Dita because I love the way she accessorized it more. Her signature red lip also adds another fun color to the look.

The style of the 1940’s is a favorite of mine, which is probably why I loved looking at the many costumes seen in The Notebook.

Wardrobe always plays a role in defining someone’s social status, especially in period pieces like this. There’s a definite and distinguished difference between Rachel McAdam’s character’s upper-class style in contrast to Ryan Gosling’s more simplistic look.

Rachel’s character, Allie, wore some gorgeous hairpieces throughout the film that I would want to have on my head everyday. The Notebook makes me wish I was alive in the 40s just to wear Allie’s wardrobe. What was your favorite costume from the movie?

On celebrities, runways, and the street—wedges have been spotted in so many different places lately. They’re a more comfortable alternative to sky-high stilettos, so I can’t blame anyone for putting on a pair. Plus, I love how there are so many different styles of wedges available now, so they can fit anyone’s personal taste and style.

Victoria Beckham wore this black dress from her own collection back in December while in Paris, but Jennifer Hudson was also seen in it last night at the Grammy Awards. I just love the way Victoria styled hers, especially with keeping everything else simple since the dress is very structured. I don’t think it was the best choice for Jennifer’s shape and the black tights just make it feel a little “old” on her—too much black on black.
