A new, limited-edition recycled denim collection, arriving just in time for the Earth Day fuss, has united Alexander Wang, Bottega Veneta, Derek Lam, Rodarte, Rogan, Stella McCartney, Versace, and Ann Demeulemeester.
Last summer Barney’s New York collected recycled denim, which these top designers have fashioned into outfits. The exclusive designs, now
In her spread in the May 2009 issue of Vanity Fair, Emily Blunt looks all but poised to steal all the period piece roles away from Keira Knightley.
In the ornate Michael Roberts-shot editorial, Emily models some incredible couture looks from the Paris collections, including Dior, Givenchy, and Valentino.

Swoon! Diane Kruger (with the better-with-age Joshua Jackson) hit up the 6th Annual New Yorkers for Children Spring Dinner Dance Thursday night.

WWD has reported that Brooklyn-based jewelry designer Anna Sheffield will again bring her Bing Bang line to the masses. Last year we enjoyed her Bee 23 line with Urban Outfitters. This August another exclusive collection hits Target. We’ll have more details when they emerge!
Kanye [and a little of Amber Rose] star in the new ads for his sneaker collaboration with Louis Vuitton.
Spending $900 on Velcro sneaks and being around Kanye’s incredible genius makes me tired, too, Amber!
See three more images of the campaign in our gallery.

Puma has teamed up with Yves Saint Laurent’s Stefano Pilati to design a small, exclusive collection of men’s sneakers.
The shoes, which will be available in YSL boutiques, look sleek and versatile. The limited collection is just two hightop designs: a leather shoe and a suede shoe, each available in black
Terry Richardson shot Evan Rachel Wood for the May 2009 issue of GQ.
The sexy pin-up shoot looks like it’s straight out of a Tarantino film, and therefore the perfect job for Mr. Richardson.

Wonderfully freckled Anne Vyalitsyna returns to print in a sweet shoot for the May 2009 issue of Dazed & Confused. Mariano Vivanco shot the story, which features Christopher Kane designs.

Another feature in the Models Issue of Vogue May 2009 is “Meet the Boyfriends.”
Pretty straightforward — Patrick Demarchelier photographed six top models with their boyfriends: Doutzen Kroes, Chanel Iman, Arlenis Sosa, Julia Stegner, Caroline Trentini, and Anna Jagodzinska.
Cutest part: Caroline is dating the photographer’s son! And even though she’s clearly posing,
Usually lightening your hair is a youth-enhancing move, right? We’ve seen Jessica Alba looking hot with lighter locks before, but this time it’s not so pretty. I think it has more to do with the cut than the color – she just looks ways beyond her 27 years. While the
H&M regularly has ads that are a lot better than you’d think a chain retailer would have. These ads are no exception, as Daria Werbowy stars in the summery campaign for Matthew Williamson’s collaboration with H&M.
The Asian-inspired styling of this shot is highlighted wonderfully by the incredible colors.

Drew Barrymore got glammed up in Alberta Ferretti for a Roaring Twenties-inspired look. Accented with a small veil and classic red lipstick, the nude, sequined gown looked perfect on Drew, and not costumey.
Drew hit up the..black carpet for HBO’s premiere of the Grey Gardens remake in New York Tuesday night.
Beth Ditto continues her cover reign with the May 2009 issue of Dazed & Confused.
Great, eye-catching image — a little Rocky Horror Picture Show, a little Pop Art.
Rumor has is that Madonna will extend her stay as the face of Louis Vuitton, and star in a new Steven Meisel-shot campaign for Fall 2009.
Nothing has been confirmed yet, but it sounds like we should know more in the next month.
Would it be Madonna overload? Are we all
The May 2009 issue of Vogue is the Steven Meisel-shot “Model Issue,” and features a pull-out cover with “The Faces of the Moment.” (Is it just me, or is Natalia Vodianova having the longest moment ever?!)
It’s great, of course, to see models on a US cover (especially since not one
Expanding on Juicy’s loungewear empire that started with tracksuits, the Juicy Couture Intimate Apparel collection is basic sleepwear and underwear. Really basic. Like, boring-basic. The line is full of nightgowns, screened tees and camisoles, pajama pants, undies, and robes, in springy, girly colors.
The line is surprisingly innocuous and a lazy attempt
British artist-turned-milliner Piers Atkinson keeps things fun and a little absurd for his Fall/Winter 2009 hat line.
Rebecca Grover-Jones models the “Princess and the Frog” collection, which includes hats featuring Barbie, Mickey Mouse ears, and huge flowers.

A new study, suspiciously led by a research department of L’Oreal, has found that applying makeup might contribute to better balance and coordination.
The survey of 100 women aged 65-85 revealed that those who applied even a little makeup in the morning were steadier on their feet and had better posture.

Here are a few shots from a Vogue China Beauty editorial.
Jem Mitchell shot Du Juan doing her best Danny Zuko for this April 2009 cover. Inside the spread the models sport rockabilly hairstyles, including one that nearly defies gravity.

Rimmel announced Lily Cole as one of their new faces in July 2008. Almost a year later, she has finally joined Sophie Ellis Bextor and Kate Moss in representing the beauty brand.
I think Lily seems like an odd choice to campaign for Rimmel’s Stay Matte Foundation — the makeup’s covered all
The Spring 2009 cover of tar magazine features the above graphic of Kate Moss. Created by Damien Hirst, the image exposes half of Kate’s face – instead of distorting a model’s face by airbrushing a photograph, Hirst peeks into the true, and not always pretty, side of human anatomy.
