The out-of-the-way Center 548 became an unlikely punk haven for Sally LaPointe‘s debut NYFW presentation. Once guests were seated around strategically placed cinder-block bridges, a pair of androgynous boys in black flanked the industrial, neon-lit elevator, fog spilled out over the floor, and girls embracing “the intoxication of accepting madness” tottered out onto the runway.

Since today is my anniversary (2 years married and 3 years together) and we are in the middle of fashion week, I’m looking through all the collections for my next wedding dress. Yep, next wedding dress, because Daniel and I have decided to get remarried every 5 years. Sounds like fun, right?

Looking at Christian Siriano’s Spring 2011 collection, I think I have some great choices for my next dress. Any of the above would do, but the red ruffled finale dress is def the first choice!

We here at FashionIndie love Whitney, not only because she’s beautiful, but because we’ve met her a few times at events and she’s quite friendly and personable. But a designer she is not!

This another attempt at designing a collection is a failure, it falls somewhere between the sale rack at The Gap and everything at Old Navy!
