Mid-tier retailer Kohl’s has signed mid-tier “musician” Avril Lavigne to launch Abbey Dawn, a mid-tier juniors lifestyle brand.
With the exception of that song about boys who line up to buy skate gear, we’re not really up on any of Avril’s music, so we’re just going to draw the conclusion that when they say lifestyle brand, they’re referring to one that consists of having no discernible talent and yet being successful at re-appropriating manufactured “punk” culture to sell records and now clothes.
