Diptyque has been creating classic scented candles since 1961 and making my room smell amazing since I first visited their Paris store in 2007. With a sparse black and white aesthetic mimicking the elegant writing on their candles, the Diptyque store is a glamourous haven for amazing smells and helpful employees who can turn any passerby into a scent connoisseur. Asking helpful questions about your favorite scents and recommending something you are sure to love it’s hard to leave the Diptyque store without one of their amazing products. A helpful hint I learned from Diptyqye: the best way to get the true sent of a candle is to knock it out of the glass, and smell the inside of the glass.
