Sadly one of those dudes isn’t the Pope, but I guess the United Colors of Benetton has enough papal problems without depicting the pontiff pounding a poof. In their latest inflammatory step, Benetton has released the commercial for their controversial “UnHate” Foundation campaign. Mingling images of hatred and love, violence and peace, the ad gets the foundation’s message across without skimping on the half-naked-man quotient. Check out the commercial after the jump!

Story by Lester Brathwaite

I was center square from 1969 to 1978, during which I perfected the art of the zing as well as a crippling cocaine addiction. Bea Arthur was responsible for both. @LesFabian lester at fashionindie.com
