Biba Relaunch, Again
We’ve written about them many times, but now it looks as though Biba is again re-inventing themselves. I feel like we should do a ‘designer discovery’ with every season that this label produces. And apparently Sussie Bubble agrees.
“Biba’s aiming at an entirely different demographic to what it was decades ago when it was the place for cheap, fast, funky fashion. With Bella Freud having left the scene, the new creative team have crammed as much lux quality into the designs, and suddenly, I ‘geddit’…. it is to be treated as a fashion label with a past that lives on in ‘spirit’ but not in anything else. ”
