Dear Corey,

You are correct that you didn't create this original post. However, you did write in a reply comment, "There is a reason why America has weight issues, because people take the easy way out and “are comfortable with their bodies.” Grow up, drop the cupcake, get off the couch, and get on the treadmill." The rest of my original comment still stands.

Actually, I took the fat girl home, and then I married her.

You owe me $100.

Rather than PayPaling it to me, you could instead invest it in several copies of Marilyn Wann's book, "Fat!So?" for yourself and your fashion friends, including Daniel Saynt.

Dear Austin,

First and foremost I did not write this post, just merely commented on it. But more importantly Dr. Phil, I think you are portraying me as more of a hateful person rather than the annyoed person I am. The fashion industry is a very discrimantory industry incase you havent noticed, and very unforgiving to over weight individuals. So when people come on to my website whinning because someone in the fashion world wasn't nice to them. I don't hate fat people, I hate fat people who whine because they are fat. But since you are so weight concious, next time your at the bar take the fat chick home, $100 says you won't and then come back and tell me I'm discrimanatory.

Corey, I cannot believe that you would honestly be so fashion-backward as to exhibit fatphobia in your post. How passé! Your comments about fat people are embarrassing...to you.

Fat people need to stop being comfortable with their own bodies? In fact, this is completely wrong. Fat people and thin people and all people very likely benefit from body self-love and the positive effects it has on life in general. Unfortunately, mainstream North American cultures do not typically support bodies outside a strict normative subset. It looks like you've bought into this thinking, too, poor thing. Didn't you know that anti-discrimination is the new pink?

You betray considerable bias when you say, "Grow up, drop the cupcake, get off the couch, and get on the treadmill." You insinuate that fat people spend lots of time on couches, clutching cupcakes, and eschewing physical activity. I would find this stereotypical bigotry laughable, but then again, it's bigotry! Discrimination is wrong, Corey, and I imagine that a person of color would quite easily appreciate that.

Sometimes, when a person speaks hateful, vitriolic, homophobic language, they are in part afraid of the potential homosexual within themselves. This is sometimes the case with fatphobia, as well. If you hate your own body, Corey, I feel very sad for you, and I hope that you are able to work out your own issues in time.

In the meantime, however, it is wise to avoid assuming in print that anyone has an "extra" 100 pounds somewhere on their body, and that they would wish to "hide" it. Better yet, why not stop assuming things about fat people altogether?

Corey, good job on being a total jerk. I did read the caption, and it remains obnoxious as does your attitude. Get over yourself and your disgust with fat bodies. Mocking a designer, her store, and her clients is childish and immature. Grow the fuck up.

Clearly you two didn't read the caption on the image...and second you are ignorant if you think that people in the fashion industry cater to all body types. There is a reason why America has weight issues, because people take the easy way out and "are comfortable with their bodies." Grow up, drop the cupcake, get off the couch, and get on the treadmill. Embrace the satire in the post and realize good or bad press is press people! So when 10 people waddle to her store because they got pissed off reading this she won't care what was said or shown.

Using an insulting and obnoxious image of a man in drag and wearing a ft suit is what you thought would be an appropriate illustration for this promo? Really? Also not all fat women want to hide their bodies or are ashamed of themselves.

Is this really the best that you could do?

I'm sure that Abby Z wouldn't appreciate this half-assed, ignorant mention of her boutique.

I won't even get into your (boring) use of an Eddie Murphy character to portray plus size women.

Anyone who has even an OUNCE of fashion industry knowledge knows how important it is to cater to all bodies when designing and manufacturing clothes. Its obvious that you have a very shallow view of fashion. And that won't get you anywhere.

You say that you have a "distaste for the mainstream" HA! You and your tastes (and humor) are typical, at best.
