As if I wasn’t thankful enough for the hours of blissful distraction Facebook provides in an otherwise productive afternoon I now have another reason to sing its praises. Facebook, you see, was the facilitator for my new relationship with Lifebooker.com, and let me tell you it has gotten pretty serious.

With over 50 categories of discounted services in the spa, beauty, health and fitness realms you really can’t go wrong. Never again will I ask a friend to refer me to her bikini waxer or search through endless Citysearch reviews for the perfect colorist to maintain my strawberry blonde locks. The site allows you to search for services by city, category, date and time. It displays consumer ratings and you can book your appointments right on the site itself. You can also sign up for text message reminders which will forward appointment details right to your cell phone. To top it all off, for every appointment you book through this blessed site they will credit you dollars towards your account that can be redeemed with your future appointments. Its like having an assistant for all your personal care needs.
