Jitterbug. Emmanuelle Alt has finally made me not long for the kohl-eyed, pencil-skirted days of Carine Roitfeld and all it took was a few dozen models or so in a pitch-perfect parody of Wham!‘s “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go.” To fete the relaunch of French Vogue‘s website, its editrix-in-chic recruited Anja Rubik, Kendra Spears, Karmen Pedaru and Jasmine Tooks to back her up in a feat of lip-synching that would put Madonna to shame. And while Alt is not as pretty as 80s-era George Michael — then again, who is? — she sure gives him a run for his jitterbugging money. Check out the thoroughly AMAZING clip after the jump.

Uniboob Alien Alert on Rome Runway

A uniboob is nearly always a tragedy. There’s a darn good reason we have two of them, and seeing just one can be a bit jostling. It’s especially shocking on a couture runway in Roma. To keep you abreast of the situation, the literally titled “Fishlike Alien With A Literal Boob In The Center” is by bridal and couture designer Gianni Molaro, a wacky wedding dress designer, maker of “couture art”, and now likely considered one of the top Italian comedians*.

I will say, it’s refreshing to see a boob on the runway that doesn’t belong to a model. It seems in the past couple of years, and grossly intensifying last year, models have been clothed for the runway with nothing covering the breastesses. Whether it’s sheer, a loose knit, or nothing these looks are leaving models’ tits out for the world to see.

Congratulations to Gianni Moralo for putting himself on the map with this Fishlike Alien with a Literal Boob in the Center. Now he needs a bride who wants/is dealing with a uniboob.

*Gianni Moralo is not, nor ever was a comedian. Though I might not know, I don’t speak Italian. This is just hilarious.

In a nasty case of the ex-fiancé’s wily new grilfriend, the crazy bitch stabbed her man’s ex in the chest. Repeatedly. After keying her car. Meanwhile, if she was going to kill her, what was the point of keying her car? But looks like the knife wasn’t quite long enough to cause damage to any major organs. She was saved by the saline of her three-month-old breast implant. Well kids, that’s one more reason to support plastic surgery.

Had she been stabbed three months earlier pre-implants, she’d be dead as doornail. Now she’s alive, and thanks to the implant manufacturer’s warranty, they’re covering the cost of the damage. Damn, those fake titties saved her ass.

Walk in the Light You Spray from a Can

You know how important the label is. A quality tag is important. Which is why you can now tag your own pictures, graffiti style. But you’re a class act, and pretty savvy with a camera, so instead of getting your hands and lungs dirty with a can of spray paint, you’re just going to spray in the light. I mean with the light. Okay, Photojojo Glow Graffiti Can is kind of hard to explain. Instead of paint coming out of the nozzle, it’s an LCD light. And when you take a picture on a really long exposure, you can paint your photos like this.

Not so camera inclined? A really long exposure means that the shudder speed is slow, making the lens stay open for an extended period of time after you click. Put the camera on a still surface, hit the button and spray around. It will absorb all the light as solid and all other moving objects as blurry. You know, for anonymous tagging.

So here’s the light can. It’s got all the same dimensions of a typical spray can, 7 inches tall, so it will stow in your purse nonchalantly. Whip it out and leave your mark, on a photo. Which lasts longer than graffiti.

It’s times like these that make me think to myself, now they’ve really thought of everything. But then I stop thinking that because it makes me feel older than a baby boomer. Seriously though, it’s an ear beanie. A hat for the tippy top of your ear. That part of your lobe that gets so cold it sends a chill through your entire body is now getting some very specific attention with a little cap. What will they think of next?? (asks the elderly woman inside of me).

It’s probably a sick hipster inside joke (answers the jaded 20-something that I really am). Considering we found it on a site called PoorlyDress.Failblog.org, and it cropped up on other tumblr, Tastefully Offensive, we’re thinking these aren’t in full scale production… yet.

Do these have a chance at salability? At wearability? Will more hipsters be on that train to earwarmingtown? Will junior highers adopt the lobe-cap as the next Tamagachi? Will high school kids soak them in vodka and let the booze soak in through their ears? Where will the ear beanie go from here??

So, while you were out, Hanson has put out 8 studio albums and 8 babies. Yeah, they’re all married with children. Even the littlest Zac has two kids! Jeez they make me feel so old. I’m going to need an Mmmhop stat, to drink these weird feelings away.

Take a close look at this. Sure, it ‘s kind of hideous and tacky and made out of macramé and other refuse from the 90s, but this piece of hippie rubbish is the greatest narcotic accessory since Sarah Michelle Gellar‘s cokespoon cross necklace from Cruel Intentions.

Those familiar with smoking weed, aka ganja, aka reefer, aka Mary Jane, aka giggle leaf — which is certainly no one at FashionIndie — might recognize this as a “pipe.” One end is a bowl with a filter and the other end has a little bead that when unscrewed reveals the mouthpiece. But these little beauties aren’t just for marijuana — though if anyone asks you they’re solely for tobacco.

Innovative low-lives can hide any number of drugs in there “such as crack, heroin or prescription pills.” There’s nothing I love more than functional jewelry. And it comes in a necklace too!

Last night FashionIndie hosted its first dance party at Meatpacking hot spot, Gun Bar and true to form, the trash we lovingly call our friends and colleagues bellied up to the bar for free tequila shots courtesy of Patrón and stormed the dancefloor to grind all freaky like on each other to the soothing sounds of mixtape impresario, DJ Chachi. Kirill was there to capture the chaos though somehow neglected to shoot a certain shitfaced editor draped in head to toe sequnis. And yes I am bitter about it. But luckily I don’t remember the slight. Or getting home for that matter. Thanks for coming out kids!

The eight year old set the YouTubes ablaze with her spot-on rendition of Nicki Minaj‘s “Superbass.” Inevitably the talk show circuit came calling. Sophia and her own tiny Flavor Flav, cousin Rosie, went on Ellen where they shut it down before Nicki comes out to hug the kids, tell them to stay in school, duet with them and generally blow their fucking prepubescent minds.

I woke up in a pile of drool as I felt the plane touch down in Milan this morning. We arrived tired from a whirlwind 2 days in London filming my new commercials for Astor Cosmetics with my favorite photographer, Rankin! I perked up as soon as I knew it was only a short time until I got to visit one of my favorite stores, attend the always fabulous Versace show and end the night wearing a fabulous gown designed by one of my dear friends.

1pm – Stopped by the Duomo for a little sightseeing.

3pm – When you are in Milan you have to stop by one of my favorite stores, 10 Corso Como. They are known for having the best fashion! They buy things from designers that no one else does!

7pm – Quick stop backstage to see Donatella before the Versace show. Look at her dress! She is as fabulous as ever.

8pm – What a beautiful show. I wanted everything!

10pm – Arrived at the amfAR event wearing a gray strapless dress with a full skirt from Cavalli. I ran into Nina Garcia, Bar Refaeli, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen and the always stunning Eva & Roberto Cavalli.

11:30pm – Just as the night was ending, look who fell into my lap! Chanel Iman

12am – Headed back to the hotel to eat some spaghetti which is always a must in Italy! Some gelato? Bring it on! Can’t wait to fly back to my family tomorrow!!

Well, turns out she’s not the only one jonesin’ for a wedding dress made of balloons. Bozo the Brides are turning down the aisle across the world in dresses that really… pop. There are some truly atrocious balloon wedding gowns that need the air let out of them, but theres one balloon artist that has taken these air pockets to a higher fashion ground. Those I’ll show you first.

Not only was it adored by adorned ancient Greeks, plenty of examples have been found squirreled away in Incan archaeological sites. Sure, marcasite accessories’ style has changed over time (check out the set of clip-on earrings above, found in a Londonian thrift shop, to see what’s likely an Art Nouveau-era example), but despite alterations in aesthetic preferences, they’re still around today. Tatler Asks, Don’t You Know Who I Am?

The August issue of Tatler includes a tongue-in-chic take on some of our favorite fashion icons, from Madonna to a tastefully done Princess Diana (Take note, Newsweek). The editorial is entitled “Don’t You Know Who I Am?” and was shot by Robert Trachtenberg with fashion editor Anna Bromilow.

The spread is as much a look forward as it is a nostalgia trip, as all of the designs featured are from current Fall/Winter collections, including Prada, Versace, Chanel, and more. Perhaps it will make up for their rather ghastly (and we’re assuming, unapproved) cover of Pippa Middleton.

I would rather call this delectable-looking treat a sandWISH instead of ‘wich because I am dreaming of it right now. From the Good Batch at Williamsburg’s weekly Smorgasburg market, these mouth-watering, heat-relief treats are a steal at $5 a piece.

Dutch stroopwafels are skinny (hooray!) waffle cookies with a caramel filling. The Good Batch adds divine flavors of ice cream, like salted caramel and Frangelico ganache, from Adirondack Creamery. This fine lady in the wedding dress you see, is actually more fit for a public bathroom than a matrimonial chapel. She made her dress out of toilet paper, and cleaned up pretty nice. Cheap Chic Weddings held their 7th annual Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest, and Susan Brennan of Michigan won $1000 for making TP look, well, not like sh*t. See the other runners up here.
