Last year we got lampooned for announcing our plans to crash Christian Siriano’s show. Some reporter from The New York Observer who had obviously never been to fashion week called us out and claimed we were ruining bloggers relationships with designers. There was major hoopla on the blogosphere, orchestrated by the least useful person in fashion blogging (you know who you are).
This season the gloves are coming off and we’re sharing with all our readers the secrets we’ve used to crash countless fashion shows in the past.
Be sure to take notes indies, these are carefully held secrets that will guarantee you access to nearly every show in New York City. Just don’t be a douche and look like an asshole when attempting. We will not be held responsible for dumbasses who attempt and fail to imitate our cool.

I’m probably the most anti-Valentine’s Day person you’ll ever meet, but this adorable Digby & Iona tree trunk ring certainly hit that sentimental soft-spot in my heart! The concept of a tree trunk ring is awesome in general, but personalize yours with engraved initials and it’s even more special. Love this!

Today’s edition of ‘would you wear’ is a fashion item that we bash constantly, mostly because it is seen more on tourists in Times Square then on fashionistas. Now that Louis Vuitton has made one, are we going to see more of them? Gucci attempted this a few years back, their version was more like a belt bag made famous by Carrie Bradshaw, but the LV version is def all fanny!

The Fall 2010 Collection was inspired by a mixture of 70’s Parisian attitude and an urban New York City girl. With a renewed love for classic sportswear, silhouettes have been re-worked with a twist to give subtle edge on signature feminine designs. The palette includes dusty hues and new neutrals contrasted with military olives and hints of old gold. Fabrics are washed to provide a worn, overly-loved appeal and are combined with cashmere wool suits, leopard faux furs and down quilted coats, together giving this collection an affordable luxe quality.

All of season seven’s designers geared up for Campbell’s AdDRESS your heart foundation last night. We were introduced to ten new women, who had all been affected by heart disease, as the designers were each assigned to one as their model. The challenge: create an evening gown look for an event for the Campbell’s program. The winner’s design would be worn to the event and sold on projectrunway.com. As the ladies hit the runway we saw some trashy, some elegant, and a whole lot of red. Amy Sarabi took the prize with her flowy red gown, while Jesus Estrada was given the boot for his short, tight number, equip with rhinestones, and his overall poor taste.
