Collab-Ho: HP & Vivienne Tam

Fashion and technology are joining forces this fashion week with the fusion of “China Chic & HP.” Vivienne Tam is creating a limited-edition computer with Hewlett Packard. This isn’t the first time a top American designer has collaborated on a PC; previously, Vera Wang designed skins for HP laptops.
To celebrate the venture, Tam will host a party at her Mercer Street store on September 9, following her Spring 2009 show at Bryant Park.
Next up, Marc Jacobs and Apple, or was that wishful thinking?

Jane Birkin Teams Up With Lutz + Patmos For Fashion Week
Style icon Jane Birkin is taking on a new role this fashion week, designer. This season she’ll be leaving the sidelines of fashion to take on the runway with a collection with New York knitwear giants Lutz + Patmos.
The French actress, dancer and singer better known for being the inspiration of the classic Hermes handbag, will release her collection in only a few weeks, which we’re hoping goes well with her daughter’s, Lou Doillon, Lee Cooper denim collection. If the tops match the bottoms, we might actually have a really great family fashion outfit to rock on the streets.
Collab-Ho: Danity Kane & Dollhouse Jeans
Designers for Dollhouse Jeans have teamed up with pop girl group Danity Kane to produce a new line of funky fashions dubbed Danity Kane for Dollhouse. The girls held a press conference a The Dollhouse Showroom in NYC on Monday night, officially announcing their new collection for the denim line.
