Last Nights Party: Metal Magazine Launch
The party for Metal Magazine was one to not miss. A who’s who of fashion hipsterdom, the group attracted a fair share of models and indies to rock the launch and celebrate the occasion with some of the latino photographers and editors of the mag (seriously, wondering if they have an extra spot available for another hispanical like me).

Mag Hag: Harper’s Bazaar
The new Harper’s Bazaar features some of the most renowned designers playing out their deepest fantasies, channeling their inner idols, the fun spread is a must-have. Elbaz of Lanvin is working the Hollywood producer. Michael Kors, Karl Lagerfeld, Donna Karan, Donatella Versace, Alessandra Facchinetti, Giorgio Armani, Alber Elbaz, Rodarte’s Laura and Kate Mulleavy and Roberto Cavalli were all asked to get into character as something other than a designer.
The men took to the silver screen for inspiration, while others channeled forces of nature, animals and royalty. Armani played the role of Fred Astaire, Kors took on James Stewart’s L.B. Jeffries character from Alfred Hitchcock’s Rear Window, Elbaz reinvented himself as a Hollywood producer with James Bond flair and Cavalli went Gone with the Wind as Rhett Butler; he was shot embracing Coca Rocha as Scarlett O’Hara.

Mag Hag: Numero Tokyo Goes Aqua Again
Numero Magazine goes underwater again for another photoshoot. Unlike their previous one, this is less vivid in color yet still is beautiful in its aesthetic.

Mag Hag: Domino September Issue
Domino has become a serious arbiter of style, and come September, the magazine is offering its annual peek into how designers live. Domino’s fashion issue, which hits stands on August 19, features a majestic room in Matthew Williamson’s home on the cover. Other stories explore Vanessa Bruno’s Paris apartment, the late Yves Saint Laurent’s lush Majorelle Gardens in Marrakesh and Michael Bastian’s New York City apartment. This month’s “My Favorite Room” section includes Luisa Beccaria at home in Milan, Francisco Costa in his garden in Bellport, NY, Sonia Rykiel in her living room in Paris and Christian Louboutin in his bedroom in Portugal.
