$300 Will Get You a Personalized Voicemail Message from George Clinton and Help Preserve the Funk

Edited by

If there’s one cause that’s near and dear to my heart, it’s The Funk. So understandably I was filled with immense sorrow when I heard that Dr. Funkenstein himself, George Clinton, needed $50,000 to save his studio. And then I was filled with even more immense sorrow when I realized that George Clinton doesn’t have $50,000.

QUEL SCANDALE! Club Owner Defends Honor of Supermodels, Beats Up Prince of Monaco

Edited by

This delicious little story is like something out of Gatsby — if The Great Gatsby was kind of trashy and a bit of a douchbag. We’ve got a bevy of supermodels, a Greek billionaire heir, a Roitfeld, an entitled prince of a sovereign city-state, $500 bottles of vodka, and a chivalrous “man of the people” trapped in the middle of it all.

Chris Brown & Rihanna Reunite, Kate Moss Paralyzed and Tyra Graduating Harvard

Edited by

- New York Fashion Week is still openly racist, but the Asians are making headway on the runway. [Jezebel]

- To complement your Downton Abbey paper dolls, how’s about some Downton Abbey trading cards? I’ll trade you three Ediths for two Dowager Countesses and a Thomas. Okay, four Ediths. Five? [Vanity Fair]

- Reunited! And it feels so…horribly inappropriate. Proving that true love conquers all or that their stupidity knows no bounds, Chris Brown and Rihanna are apparently back together. At least in song…or rather, songs...

Edited by

There have been so many ways to commemorate the late Dame Elizabeth Taylor, and a made for television movie is next in line.  Notorious train wreck Lindsay Lohan will be portraying the icon in a new Lifetime movie titled Liz and Dick, a look back at the long lasting love affair between Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.  Granted we love Eliabeth Taylor and think that Lindsay Lohan is a bit of a disaster, there are similarities in Taylor’s history that may just make the role a decent fit for her.  Lilo will be hosting Saturday Night Live next weekend (March 3) where we’ll be sure to hear a bit about her upcoming role.

Viv Westwood Thinks You’re Ugly, Top Model Thinks It’s British and Stella McC Thinks She’s an Episode of “Glee”

Edited by

- ”People have never looked so ugly… We are so conformist, nobody is thinking. I’m a fashion designer and people think ‘what do I know?’ but I’m talking about all this disposable crap. So I’m saying buy less, choose well, make it last.” — delightful harridan Vivienne Westwood. [Guardian]

- Speaking of delightful harridans, these paper dolls of Dame Maggie Smith‘s sublime Dowager Countess from Downton Abbey are everything. Ever. [Vulture]

- America’s Next Top Model is still happening. Now in its 18th cycle, this time around it’s a “British Invasion” with seven British models versus seven American models. Sort of like a 21st century Revolutionary War with bikinis and smizing. [The Cut]
