Beyoncé’s Heat

Beyoncés Heat

When Beyoncé unveiled her latest in fragrance this week, she seemed to put on quite the show. This wasn’t your average opening. All of the press were “led through a maze of precariously dark hallways into a pool-turned-auditorium” to meet the fragrance’s major players.

As for “Beyoncé Heat,” it’s a fruity mix of almond and floral. It’s supposed to “[make women] feel strong,” says the singer.

INTERVIEW: Jane Schub, Creator of Strangebeautiful

INTERVIEW: Jane Schub, Creator of Strangebeautiful

Jane Schub, creator of Strangebeautiful nail color, does not rely on seasonal color trends to drive her nail polish shades. Rather, she turns to her background as an illustrator and trained artist, drawing on the Bauhaus master Josef Albers’ color theory, which views color as an ever-changing relationship — our perception of a single hue is dependent on the other shades that surround it.

BEAUTYSPARK: Burst of Color

Nude is in for spring, and pale colors are not only for your clothes. But just like a bright accessory would brighten up your looks, so does a burst of color on your eyelid. BEAUTY: Braids Continue to Reign

Braids are here to stay! They started a few seasons ago with the Olsen Twins, became mainstream after Alexander Wang/Prada’s runway last season, and are now everywhere, from the red carpet to casual Fridays. Check out some of these recent braid looks. My fave is Diane Kruger’s thick side french braid.

Thanks Glamour!
