Shop Indie: Kova & T Lace Leggings, $110

I’d hate to argue the need for leggings that cost more than $100 bucks, but Kova & T’s collection of visible underwear is worth every penny. Shop for Kova & T Lace Leggings

Play the Tourist

I’ve always looked at tourist in NY with a bit of envy. After a few years in this city (actually my whole life) the factors that make it so amazing to some seem to just fade into the background. Times Square starts looking like  a big advertisement, the Empire State Building like another skyscraper, and Lady Liberty looks as appealing as the one night stand you can’t seem to stop bumping into at your favorite bar. Fortunately, for those truly jaded by NYC’s magic, there’s this Tourist ready tee from Modern Amusement ($25). It’s perfect for feeling like a newbie while still being a Big Apple regular.

Been There Done That: Gabriel Urist For Daniel Guzman Necklace

Hmmm… As if we havn’t seen this before. This is the new “Esclavo y Amo” necklace that Gabriel Urist designed for Daniel Guzman. The only problem is that they are way behind on the design, and way over on the price. This necklace will cost you $500, or you can go to Neiman Marcus and buy the MARC By Marc Jacobs “Fan” necklace for $62 and feel much better about yourself.

You can buy the bracelet too can still save around $300 too.

Marc Jacobs isn’t the only one to use this look either. We have seen similar products from Chanel and Juicy as well in the past. Is this a timeless trend and I’m th eonly one over it, or is this totally last year?

Mag Hag: Unvogue and the Olympian Dream

Unvogue.com, a Fashion Indie fave, just posted images from their August men’s issue. The nonglossy shows the rest of us future Wintour’s how a photo shoots done with some amazing shots of newbie model Wendell Lissimore.

If you’re like some folks at Fashion Indie and want to get in with your Olympic Spirit, be sure to do it in the most fashionable way possible by heading to Opening Ceremony this weekend. Their hosting a 48 hour event in celebration of, you guessed it, Opening Ceremony of the China games.

They be serving foodsies, drinks and selling an exclusive pair of Gold and Silver Nikes (what no bronze?) that will most likely be sold out at 12:01 when the event starts.
