David Beckham wears David Beckham very well. The footballer/shotcaller stripped down to his David Beckham Bodywear for H&M skivvies for the diffusion line’s upcoming spring campaign. While Becks doesn’t look quite as maddeningly hot as he did in those Emporio Aramni ads from 2009, it’s nice to know his moose-knuckle hasn’t been affected by the ravages of time.

Giampaolo Sgura captured actress Monica Bellucci and model Bianca Balti in the midst of familial bliss for Dolce and Gabbana‘s spring 2012 womenswear campaign, while Mariano Vivanco offers a nostalgic take for menswear with actors Giuseppe Fiorello, Francesco Scianna, Filippo Nigro, Thomas Trabacchi, Primo Reggiani and Chiara Francini spending some sepia-toned time whooping it up with the relatives.

Posing alongside the wildcat, Cole gives good face for photographer Anthony Maule in looks from Louis Vuitton, Marni and Alexander McQueen. Styled by fashion editor Ekaterina Mukhina, it looks like Cole and cat are about to blast off into the future in their white-washed spacecraft.

In my mind, 2011 will be remembered as the year we lost one of the brightest stars in the vast constellation of pop culture luminaries — one Dame Elizabeth Taylor. Since her passing in March, Taylor’s legacy has loomed large over the fashion world — from an epic editorial homage by Carine Roitfeld to the record-breaking auction of her vast collection of jewels and haute couture. ROGUE Magazine, which is quickly becoming one of my fave mags for the illustrated icon, ends the year on a Liz-loving high note with this tribute by David Downton.

Versace has been gaining momentum these past few months after first announcing a collaboration with H&M, and it doesn’t show signs of stopping. For the February 2012 issue of Vogue Nippon, models Lindsay Ellingson, Simon Nessman and Vika Falileeva are decked-out in the brand from head-to-toe with colorful hair to match by Oribe. Though not reaching the racy heights of our favorite vintage Versace ads, photographer Carlyne Cerf De Dudzeele did a fine job with Keeping the Faith and giving us the attitude we can always expect from stepping into a full-on look from Donatella.
