I don’t know who’s brilliant idea it was to give Kate Moss the “honor” of cutting the ribbon at Thursday’s grand opening of TopShop, but I definitely don’t trust that girl with a pair of scissors. Actually, I’m pretty much over the whole TopShop thing anyway. No, I won’t be camping out overnight or skipping any classes to frolic through picked-over shelves with millions of downtowners. I may, however, stop by to take a few snapshots of the fashion carnage and see if the 6-month delay is as big of a buzz kill as I anticipate. But for those of you planning to be at TopShop’s doors upon opening, wear a helmet, some knee pads and a mouth guard…Kate Moss has the scissors and who knows that she’ll do with them…
