I'm sure most would love to buy high end designer pieces, and if you can afford it, that's great. But not everyone is able to do so. Although the quality is obviously lacking, I think most of the designers do try to maintain their aesthetic, while perhaps also making pieces that will appeal more to the mass market. Yes, there are label-chasers who will buy any of these for the brand name, but even those who love fashion for the sake of fashion probably have a favorite designer that they gravitate toward more than others. Personally, I think it's great that there are designers collaborating in this way to make their designs more accessible to those who love them but can't afford to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on a single t-shirt, dress or jacket. Anyway, I'd prefer to see people pay for a collaborative piece by Anya Hindmarch for Target rather than a faux LV bag on the street.

BUYERS DON'T CARE AND WE US OUT HERE ON THE STREETS CARELESS TOO. HELL IT WILL TAKE MORE OF A DESIGNER TO CREATE FOR EVERYDAY THAN IT WOULD FOR AN ONE TIME USE GARMENT. I THINK THIS IS WERE FASHION HERE IN AMERICA NEEDS TO BE. WE NEED STRONGER LICENSING,PATTENS AND LITIGATION SO THAT THE INTEGRITY OF NEW DESIGNERS WORK WONT BE COMPROMISED BY ESTABLISHED DESIGNER AND VICE VERSA. WE NEED TO HAVE A SOCIETY WHERE INNOVATION IS ENCOURAGED.GARMENTS ARE MADE FOR PEOPLE TO WEAR THEM NOT JUST TO KEEP IN A TRUNK OR A CLOSET. THIS WOULD ALSO WEED OUT ALL THE CRITICS WHO KNOW NOTHING AND THE DESIGNERS WHO CANT REALLY DESIGN.
