Color Your World

If you thought that you could only wear a moody color-palate this fall, then prepare to be surprised. While plenty of the classic, dark colors for fall were seen on the runway, many eye-catching shades— not usually around for this time of year— also made numerous appearances. Some designers used bright fuchsia, sunny yellow, electric blue, and tangy orange head-to-toe, while others preferred to use the colors as accents on each outfit.

Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta, and Valentino were amongst the big names who gave a splash of color to their fall 2009 collections.

A fun way to mix these colors into your own wardrobe is to accessorize. Wearing a bright belt or hat is an easy way to make a statement and stand-out amongst all of the more subtle colors this fall.
