I’ve finally gotten myself all moved into my place and unpacked. I’ve started to purchase furniture and the decorating process has begun. But I have one goal in mind for my new place.

I want it to be less like this. . .

and more like this. . .

I would like to eventually live in an entirely vintage home. I think it will make the decorating process that much more special, fun, and of course one of a kind. I’m just so tired of walking into people’s apartments and it feeling like Ikea threwup all over it. Don’t get me wrong, I have some Ikea pieces in my place, but I’m trying to keep it to a minimum. And hey if Ikea decor is for you, that’s great, it’s just personally not the look I’m going for.
