Ten years ago, designer Laura Cloke graduated from fashion school and began experimenting with lingerie design. She started by selling her delicate creations to small London boutiques, and soon the press caught wind. After showing at London Fashion Week, her brand became global and can be found at brick and mortar and online boutiques all around the world. For the woman who lounges in silk lingerie at home and isn’t afraid to wear it on the street, Ell & Cee is breaking the boundaries between inner- and outerwear.

I stole my first pair of platforms from the Spice Bus in 1997 when Anglophilia was all the rage. Collector of vintage bags, vinyl and kitchen appliances. My dream of becoming a butcher is momentarily on hiatus so I can teach you how to wear muumuus and apply false eyelashes. Follow me on Twitter @CrystlMeatballs.
