Urban Chic meets tribal art in order to create Flo de Richefort, an independent design company based in Paris. This collection “Party Preachers” is the designer’s take on peace and love inspired by street life and it’s urban influences. I was drawn to this designer because I connected with the simplistic nature of the shapes, and the youthfully bright choices within the color palate. The playful yet chic blending of tag art makes me feel as if I’m dancing in an imaginary a world where art is vandalizing every wall, all the while remaining intrinsically parisian. The removal from modern boundaries and inclusion of garb like tribal pieces is a refreshing and bold statement, placing this designer on my menswear look list.

Story by Jessica Lapidos

I impart my daily love of light layering, thick-as-thieves platforms and undiscovered fashionable gems. I love to turn a phrase, and in truth I'm a designer at werq.
