Sisters Annie and Karen Lin have pulled together for the adventure of a lifetime! Who knew that once they emerged from the Parsons School of Design, they would be embarking on a journey of great vigor alongside awarding experiences hand-in-hand? That journey has a name, the name being AIRA. AIRA is a unique blend of the design elements attributed by both Annie and Karen. Through graceful manipulation of materials and unique design aesthetic, the Lin sisters have certainly found their calling. Their newest Spring 09 line is inspired after Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty and love; we sure are excited to see what they create! As for now, the journey has been an incredible one. Mending pants, dresses, and skirts, AIRA refuses to produce anything less than perfection. The Lin sisters have mended a label, which is characteristically its own. It’s original and wearable, which is really the best part!
When I started this internship I was a quiet, innocent, polite girl. Now I find myself bashing poorly dressed celebrities and trannys thanks to the influence of Daniel Saynt.
I am a huge Metro Station fan. My true inspiration for writing is my desire to gain equality for all lactose intolerant folks in the work place. My goal is to prove to the fashion world that we too are people and that we can change the world one Soy Milk mustache at a time!
