Manipulating bold fabrics into vibrantly living works of art, Alexandra Groover has emerged and is climing her way to the top! Deriving inspirational components from rich expression and synonymously striking ideals, Alexandra has set out to push the limits. It is through her manipulating of fabric that Alexandra sets out to ensue a change with voice. The form of her works adhere not only to her love for design, but to the necessitated love of dramatic experience. Alexandra wants you to look at her works and be carried through a realm of an entirely new visual outlook; it is only through this change in lens that her voice will be heard. It is a place where her inspiration will whisper through the threads.

Pursuing her immense love for design in a series of two collections, Alexandra has truly tagged a characteristic touch. The works mended at her fingertips entertain a certain innovation, which is vital in their purpose to entertain expression. The overall sense of simplicity felt when looking at the designs in no way averts one’s eyes from the skillful complexity of precise design detail. The two lines are created amongst opposite ends of the scheme. The first collection, is a series of one-of-a kind dresses with an intact source of elegance. The second collection, whilst still remaining elegant, certainly has been composed of less formal materials for an “everyday” sort of look. It is important to Alexandra that her pieces be wearable. These are not collections, which while beautiful, would sit in the back of your closet and accumulate dust; these collections are made for recognition and more importantly, public applause.

Thanks Popgloss!

Story by Marissa Moshell, Student

When I started this internship I was a quiet, innocent, polite girl. Now I find myself bashing poorly dressed celebrities and trannys thanks to the influence of Daniel Saynt. I am a huge Metro Station fan. My true inspiration for writing is my desire to gain equality for all lactose intolerant folks in the work place. My goal is to prove to the fashion world that we too are people and that we can change the world one Soy Milk mustache at a time!
