“My name is Jody Martino Brinkman, aka Bagua Jody, a fashion designer, artist and stylist based Amsterdam. I graduated at the fashion department of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 2006. My work, both applied and conceptual, consists of fashion collections, drawings, illustrations and imagery. I always create a world, an aura that shows how I feel and what I want to share with you.

Fashion is my channel of expression, and it goes beyond ‘just’ clothing. During the process of research and creation different pieces see the light of day, in multiple mediums. They result in various forms of presentation, e.g. an installation, film, performance or catwalk show.”
