Designer Discovery: Caroline Hedaya

The flirtatious feminine designs of Caroline Hedaya’s Fall 2008 collection reference a 70’s cocktail party with its sexy, easy-chic sensibility, clean lines and subtle sophistication.  Designed by FIT graduates, Caroline Hedaya and Donna Baxter, this high-end contemporary collection is thriving in its fourth season with its playful day-to-evening dresses.

Keeping things basic, the designers use a black, pink and navy color palate in classic silhouettes. Caroline and Donna inject a sense of humor and fun with pink and black lace ruffles in mini and full length dresses. Standout pieces from Fall‘08 include the long strapless navy and cream color-blocked dress in silk chiffon and the black corset dress with a cascade of pink ruffle detailing.
