Spanish born Emilio de la Morena originally started as a sculptor, then moved to London to study business. It was there that he discovered his flair for fashion and began working on his collections. His pieces showcase his talents for embroidery traditional to Spain, and the sculptural influences that play into the silhouettes, creating a balance between hard and soft. Using ruffles, embellishments and strong shapes that compliment the body his collections have been received with much acclaim. His Spring/Summer 2008 line featured clean looks in blues, whites and khakis. Starting with patchwork patterned dresses, moving into silver blue satiny evening pieces mixed in with safari style shorts and shirts, and finally all white sculpted dresses. He is now showing his Autumn/Winter 2008-09 collection in London and Paris.
