Gisele Ganne has stepped up to the scene, and not without unforgettable inspiration. Drawing threads from the past, Gisele has created a line of memorial jewelry, which she feels can relate and date back to older customs among various groups of people. Painting the design process step by step, Gisele makes it clear that she first sculpts with purpose. The jewelry is representative of a death, but Gisele points out, ” Mourning is not just about dead people; it is also about dead relationships and decaying marriages. Today, 42% of marriages finish in divorce in the UK and 38% in France. [Her] divorce jewellery refers to old and contemporary wedding customs to illustrate this sort of mourning.” Though Ms. Ganne’s point could add a rather gloomy feel, she is sure to boost the appeal with beautiful colors, intricate design, and brilliantly crafted symbols. The colors used are bright and the flowers give the pieces an unforgettable touch.

Story by Marissa Moshell, Student

When I started this internship I was a quiet, innocent, polite girl. Now I find myself bashing poorly dressed celebrities and trannys thanks to the influence of Daniel Saynt. I am a huge Metro Station fan. My true inspiration for writing is my desire to gain equality for all lactose intolerant folks in the work place. My goal is to prove to the fashion world that we too are people and that we can change the world one Soy Milk mustache at a time!
