Designer Discovery: Graffinis Swimwear

inspiration.jpg

Take a look at the image above. Does it inspire you? While some might see art and the occassional naresayer might see vandilization, designer Paul Cartelli saw inspiration for his swimwear collection Graffinis.

Graffinis Swimwear began as an idea to combine the urban experience of New York with the style and comfort of modern swimwear. Photographic imagery is taken from the streets of New York and printed onto every suit. The result is a swimwear piece that will undoubtingly verify your street cred.

Graffiti from Elizabeth Street, Mulberry Street and even Broome become pieces of wearable art allowing you to showcase your NY love during Spring Break on the beaches of Belize, Miami, or for you locals (with no beach budget) Brighton.

About the Author: Founder and main dude at Fashion Indie, Daniel Saynt began his career in fashion at the tender age of 14, when he worked in the stockroom for some unnamed fashion whorehouse. His distaste for the mainstream quickly festered until he decided enough was enough, denouncing all mainstream fashion lines (unless the stuffs on sale or just down right irresistible or free, you can't say no to free).
