Husam El Odeh studied fine are at the renowned Hochscheule der Kuenste in Berlin and worked successfully as an artist in Berlin until he moved to London in 1999. There he exchanged the canvas for the body and startd to study jewellery. His work is about balancing tactile and visual qualities. It confuses expectation. The combination of opposites is a key element. The immediacy of the body is an integral part of the work.
