Ishii’s “uptown- chic” aesthetic plays on a modern interpretation of classic silhouettes. Designed by Tamae Ishii, a graduate of Parson’s School of Design and experienced apprentice to numerous design houses including Valentino, Jean Paul Gaultier, Calvin Klein & Zac Posen, Tamae easily interprets her designer know-how into her collections with her meticulous detailing and luxurious European fabrics. Ishii is quickly getting noticed as a hot new fashion up-and-comer and has been featured as in the book Young Fashion Designers Americas by Daab Publishing.

Tamae Ishii’s unique design aesthetic of combing clean, classic silhouettes with luxurious European fabrics and trims brings elegant yet wearable designs to modern American fashion. Tamae finds inspiration in everything from antique French textiles to Italian renaissance art and architecture. The designer hopes to one day grow her label into a lifestyle brand for today’s modern woman.
