Located in Sweden, 20 year old designers Lamija Suljevic and Gabomilla Nielsen started their line LAMILLA, summer of 2007, and already have been featured on Swedish TV, and in major Swedish magazines where they have been named the next up and coming designers. The two attended fashion school together, both with a focus on design.
The clothes from their latest collection look fit for dolls, dresses have high-waisted puff skirts, cut out detailing, embroidery, lace and braiding. The ultra-feminine, but almost dark vibe makes the clothes beautiful, but almost like something the mysterious little girl in the hall of a haunted house would wear.
Biographies should be written after one is dead!
So for now, I am alive in New York, designing for a Norwegian brand Flinga,
keeping it short and sweet being an intern for Fashion Indie, which rocks!
