Blending sheik jackets with flirty dress, Lea Carreno wastes no time making her way to the spotlight. Stripes in all different colors make a wide appearance throughout Lea’s collections. Though bound as a cohesive whole through design aesthetic, the pieces each bring a sense of originality to each collection. In several of the pieces, the works are centered around more bold and elegant shades such as navy blues and blacks, where as in other designs the color palette features brighter reds and yellows. In all of Lea’s designs, it’s clear that she enjoys working to create a specific pattern, but the great thing about the designs is that the patterns don’t distract from the basics components of the silhouette. You look at a Lea Carreno design and immediately, you’re captivated by the basic shapes and contours, as well as the basic willingness the designer has to wrap your head around something new. The collections are all fun and innovative for the ultimate stand out performance.

Story by Marissa Moshell, Student

When I started this internship I was a quiet, innocent, polite girl. Now I find myself bashing poorly dressed celebrities and trannys thanks to the influence of Daniel Saynt.I am a huge Metro Station fan. My true inspiration for writing is my desire to gain equality for all lactose intolerant folks in the work place. My goal is to prove to the fashion world that we too are people and that we can change the world one Soy Milk mustache at a time!
