Pushing the limits to embrace new inspiration, Lela Jacobs has emerged on top! Mending bold fabrics into cutting edge fashions, it’s no wonder the innovative designer has her fashion foot forward. Describing Lela’s strongest talents and inspirations, it’s been said that she “has an affinity for the awkward, the tenacious, the playful, and the complex. ” Not only does the black color scheme, incorporated throughout the designs, speak to a consumer seeking out edge, the design aesthetic allows the clothing to be appreciated amongst a wide range of people. She pays attention to a complete state of “unlikely companions: seduction and repulsion,” which “collectively conquer us.” Lela has the confidence to design her clothing in a way that can push the boundaries. Creating the next everyday outfit is not the objective, the objective is speaking a statement, ingraining an image and confidence in the wearers mind.
