It takes a brave man to don a man-bag let alone a Leonello Borghi…well maybe a brave American man, because as we all know Europeans have no shame. The bags, which designer Borghi calls “unapologetic luxury”, have a very Versace-esque vibe about them leading to you to question the owners sexual orientation, but at the same time admiring their courage. The 2008 spring/summer collection is a mashup of snakeskin, stingray, and other various scaly creatures as well as ultra luxurious leather. Carried in only the hippest of exclusive boutiques, the label also caters to women, which seems redundant since all the pieces possess the same look-at-me-my-bag’s-expensive aesthetic.
