Designer Discovery; San & Soni

San & Soni is a collection driven by playful spirit and young attitude by the innovative duo Sonali and Inderjeet Singh. They met while attending FIT and found not only a design partnership, but also a romantic one as well. Sonali and Inderjeet married soon after and together began building their dream of designing their own line. The collection features women’s high end contemporary sportswear at its best, with inspiration from fabric manipulation and the use of high quality fabrics and unique trims and details.

“My family is in the Gemstone business and they always desired me to follow there footsteps, but I knew at a very early age that I was meant for apparel design. I would often create fashions of my mother’s sari’s and play around with all types of fabrics which inspired me to take my passion serious. I attended FIT and I knew someday I wanted to start my own collection.” Sonali recalls here her long running desire and passion for design. San & Soni is the collection that both Inderjeet and Sonali have dreamed of for many years. San & Soni represents their nicknames; Soni for Sonali and San for Inderjeet.
