Designer: Tejani

Glamor and avant-garde style with a touch of ethnic heritage defines contemporary jewelry brand, Tejani. Head designer Urvi Prunier creates a capsule of jewels, including bangles, chokers, bib necklaces, and chandelier earrings, in an eye-catching array of colorful semi-precious stones. Tejani is derived from the designer’s family name, and means “brightness” and “sparkle.”
Since graduation in 1993, Urvi Prunier has pursued a career in the fashion industry. Soon after earning her degree, she embarked on her first entrepreneurial enterprise, “Suitable Suits,” a corporate wardrobe service for businesswomen. She later held positions in sales, sales management, and merchandising at prestigious fashion houses, including Chanel, YSL, and Nicole Miller. Nonetheless, all these experiences lead her back to her first passion — jewelry — and ultimately to embrace her Indian heritage. A greater understanding for the fashion industry and trend-forecasting enables Tejani to offer four seasonal collections each year, with fashion-forward jewelry based on the trends and colors of each season.
Tejani defines the chic, daring, trend-setting woman, and is the perfect blend of timeless, artful, and hand-crafted designs combined with a refreshingly modern edge.
