Irish designer Tim Ryan, now based out of London, is taking knitwear to a whole new level with his beautiful summer creations, representing his take on 1970′s Art Deco. Tim’s philosophy is to make whole wardrobes out of knitwear and not be limited by the industry’s fixed ideas on what knitwear can’t be.
His focus is on shape and construction, opting to work with larger shapes and less seams in his garments. His skin baring, brightly colored designs are made to compliment the body and the occasional shimmering bead detailing add glamor. Among the pieces that really stand out, a sheer genie pant jumper and crocheted, loose hanging top in soft gold tones.
